Hello
I have a 78 work in progress. I've hit a few road blocks with lack of funds and lack of a shop. Right now the engine has been rebuilt and is ready to be installed. Before it goes in however it's been decided it would be easier to work on the exhaust while the engine is out. The van's heater boxes are toast. Is there an exhaust out there that by-pass or replace the heater boxes? Please note this will be a summer driven vehicle. Anyone have any suggestions for a body shops?
Thanks!

I think you will enjoy your van a lot more if you can drive it whenever the roads aren't being salted instead of just the summer months. I would keep the heater boxes operational. Although John's Bug Shop runs this forum, it doesn't look like they've checked in lately. I would check with them for body shop advice and for any parts you might need. www.johnsbugshop.com/How have you made out with your van since your post?
