When changing a type one engine from fuel injection can the original heads be kept, how do we plug the injector holes?
Never done it but willing to learn.

the intake manifolds end castings are different, so you need to get ones made for carb applications. there are no holes in the heads that need to be plugged. you can keep your original heads. you would need a new alternator stand, the FI one is unique.
if you are removing FI system from a beetle engine i would be interested in any of the parts you discard.
