I have a 73 super, and it need a new home i have own it for a long time and never got to complete the project......And now i am saying good bye--:(
this is a nice car, solid, it needs some suspension work (new front spring) Brakes, the whole interior..... wiring and body work complete and the engine is fine, wheel have good rubber and the rims are very basic.
I will entertain real offers, i would like to sell before DEC 1 2009

I'm parting out a 1973 Canadian Edition 1600DP Swing-Axle Standard Bug

Details:
Running 1600cc DP engine with good compression on all 4 (not restored)
Fully restored pan (sand blasted, primed, painted, undercoated, new pan halves welded in) w/ stainless steel fuel line routed through the tunnel, new shift linkage, much more...
Swing-Axle Tranny in great shape except for broken spot-weld on driver-side retainer cup. (Mounted to pan) -Axle tubes blasted/primed/painted -New CV boots.
Brake backing plates also sandblasted, primed painted, brakes re-assembled with rebuild kits
Beam repaired with weld-in reinforcements on the shock towers - sanded, anti-rust primer, painted
4 new KYB gas shocks installed on pan
Original rims/tires that came with the car when purchased (old and rusty)
Many new replacement sheet metal panels for body: -front firewall -angle flanges under rear seat to bolt onto pan. -heater channels (danish) -lower A-pillar/door hinge sections -Rear quarter patch panels
The body needs a lot of work but has welded in braces so it is straight and the core is solid. Needs the bottom sheet metal all the way around.
Complete dash pad w/o radio cut-out.
Fenders, hood, decklid (great condition) etc...
Glass is all there except front windshield which cracked on removal Rear curved window is still installed.
Driver/Passenger bucket seats and rear bench in original blue cloth. The bench has a small tear in it.
Other new parts: -Bolt and seal kit for body->pan mounting -various engine seals and pieces -weld on bracket for throttle pedal (if not doing the roller pedal thing) -brake sense switches
Other used spares: -Clutch/Brake Pedal assembly -master cylinder
